The labour movement was instrumental in founding Liberation, as the Movement for Colonial Freedom in 1954, and has been a mainstay of our organisation since.
Today we are proud to have a range of trade unions among our affiliates, at national, regional and local level
These include Aslef, NEU, UCU, Unison and Unite.
A number of trades councils are also affiliated.
