Salehi: An urgent Palestinian mobilisation is needed to confront the occupation plan in the Gaza Strip
Bassam Al-Salhi, Secretary General of the Palestinian People’s Party, demanded the need to declare an immediate Palestinian and international alert to confront this growing danger that targets our people existentially and politically.
Al-Salhi added that it is a plan that carries two goals, on the one hand it is a serious and major threat targeting our Palestinian people, and on the other hand it reflects the actual plan that Netanyahu was postponing and not disclosing it during the demands of his former partners in the war council to determine the next day, and the most dangerous thing in it is that it is a practical plan to implement the displacement called for by Trump, which constitutes the political cover for this Israeli plan.
‘The Palestinian response must be to urgently mobilise in all international forums, including the Security Council, to stop the continuation of genocide and deportation,’ he added.
He also stressed the need for immediate agreement at the internal level for a unified Palestinian response and a unified speech by the PLO and Hamas, including the formation of a unified negotiating delegation for a ceasefire, and addressing the requirements of the Arab plan for political, administrative and security reconstruction.
‘The Palestinian People’s Party has already made an appeal in this regard, and is now repeating it to prevent the imminent and mutually reinforcing dangers expressed by this plan and its background,’ added Al-Salhi.
