Liberation held its Annual General Meeting on 13 March 2021, via the online conferencing platform zoom.
We remembered our late President Stan Newens (see Jeremy Corbyn’s tribute above), gave a report of our financial position and our activity over the past year, elected a new central council, agreed some amendments to our constitution, heard proposals for an education programme, and debated and passed a number of statements and motions, on Myanmar, Iraq, Iran and the Chagos Islands.
