Volunteering your time and skills is a highly effective way of supporting the work at Liberation. All our staff work on a voluntary basis and Liberation strongly encourages volunteering, as it is essential in order to carry out our work. Liberation highly values both the time and commitment given to us by volunteers.
Previous experience is highly desirable.
The area of research can be assigned to match the volunteer’s interests and abilities. Liberation currently needs researchers to:
• Monitor human rights conditions and developments in various countries to assist with country campaigns
• Assist with research and developing our women’s work.
The volunteer will assist the web designer in developing the Liberation website by organising and selecting relevant materials to post onto the website.
Finance and Administration
This position is based in the Liberation office, Hampstead. The volunteer will help with administrative tasks such as filing, responding to emails, updating memberships and generally assisting the general-secretary in daily tasks.
Applicants should be self-motivated and have a strong interest in international human rights. A minimum commitment of three months is preferred and volunteers can also work from home.
Please apply immediately by contacting Maggie Bowden at Liberation.
